First-Year Mentorship

Two seasonal visits during the first year:

Throughout the first year, we provide seasonal guidance and support as your food forest develops and evolves. Through regular visits at key points in the year, we observe the system’s progress and provide practical advice on the next steps needed to guide the forest in the right direction.

This includes support with pruning and growth management, adapting strategies to changing conditions, managing biomass cycles, improving soil health, and responding to the needs of the ecosystem as it establishes itself. Our aim is to help you develop the skills and understanding needed to confidently come into partnership with your food forest for the long term.
