SAFFT4EU – Food Forests for Europe

Food Forester Training

The course is aimed at gardeners, farmers and long-time practitioners and enables them to understand, operate and further develop a forest garden system.  

The ‘Food Forester Training’ program is being developed with EU funding in collaboration with six partner organisations from four EU countries and will be made available in the respective national languages. This Erasmus+ project aims to develop a training course for qualified gardeners, farmers, and experienced practitioners. The course will equip practitioners to understand the different forms of forest garden systems, manage them economically, and develop them further.

The format will be an online course available to all participants in their native language, as well as an in-person event held at the farms in each of the four participating countries.
